Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer

Jane Possell is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for CNA Insurance, responsible for all aspects of the Company’s technology portfolio, as well as Analytics and Operations. Jane joined CNA in 2019 from Liberty Mutual, where she served in a variety of roles, both in business and technology. She was most recently responsible for all Small Commercial and Personal Lines Digital Technology. Prior to that, Jane spent more than 20 years at Accenture, working with 20 of the top 25 U.S. Property & Casualty insurers. As a Managing Director for Accenture, Jane helped clients tackle a variety of business and technology challenges while building internal capabilities for Accenture.

Jane has extensive experience leading global teams and building and executing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies. She is passionate about developing leaders and teams that co-create high-quality organizational cultures and use the power of diversity to drive business results.

Jane holds dual degrees in Finance and Communications from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Development Program from the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Former Executive Chairman

Greg D. Carmichael is the Former Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fifth Third Bancorp, the ninth-largest U.S. based consumer bank. He took on the role in July 2022 after serving seven years as Fifth Third’s CEO and ten years as its President. In his time as CEO, the company grew in assets to more than $220 billion and became recognized as one of the most innovative banks in the country.

In the 19 years with the company, Greg’s direction and vision helped drive the Bank’s transformation and overall success. In recognition of Greg’s leadership on environmental, social, and governance issues, and his commitment to inclusion and diversity, 3BL Media named Greg as its ‘2021 Responsible CEO of the Year’.

He stepped away from Fifth Third in March 2023 to serve as CEO of Signature Bridge Bank after New York-based Signature Bank was placed under FDIC receivership.

Greg serves on the Board of Directors of Encompass Health, Hauser Private Equity, and Fischer Homes and is a member of the Commercial Club of Cincinnati. He previously served on the Boards of the American Bankers Association and the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. In addition, he served as Vice President of the Ohio Business Roundtable and as a member of the Bank Policy Institute’s Board, and Chairman of its Business Innovation Technology Security Committee. He also served for seven years on the Board of Trustees of Bethesda Inc.

Jessica Leong is the CEO of Octagram, a consulting firm that helps property and casualty insurers with pricing, so that they can write the best risks, identify the highest risks and grow profitably.

Jessica founded Octagram because she saw there was an opportunity for a consulting firm that worked with clients to deliver game-changing impact, instead of just models.

Before starting Octagram, Jessica was the head of data and analytics at Zurich North America, leading a team who built all of Zurich’s predictive pricing, claims and operational models. She’s proud that she was able to partner with her colleagues in underwriting, claims and risk engineering to deliver profitable growth.

Jessica leadership in the field of actuarial science was recognized in 2020 when she was elected President of the Casualty Actuarial Society, the premier property and casualty actuarial organization serving over 10,000 members.
